Who we are
DeBary Electrician Connect operates debaryelectrician.com. We are an independent local referral service. We are not a licensed electrical contractor and we do not perform electrical work. When you contact us, we connect you with a licensed, insured electrician who services the DeBary, Florida area.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, city, the service you need, and any details you type into the quote form.
- Call information. If you call the tracking number shown on this site, we log the calling number, the time, and the call duration. Calls may also be recorded — see the section on call recording below.
- Usage information. Standard analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the referring site, collected through Google Analytics 4 delivered via Google Tag Manager.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we do not ask for financial account details, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers anywhere on this site.
Why we collect it and who we share it with
The purpose is straightforward: to pass your request to a local licensed electrician so they can contact you about the work.
- The contracted electrician. Your name, contact details, and job description are shared with the licensed electrical contractor contracted for this site. They use that information to return your call and quote the work. Once shared, their own privacy practices apply to their copy of it.
- Service providers. We use third parties to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database storage), Resend (email notifications), Twilio (call tracking and recording), and Google (analytics). They process data on our behalf.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect against fraud or harm.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties, and we do not distribute a single request to a list of competing contractors.
Call recording
Calls to the tracking number on this site may be recorded for quality and customer service purposes. Florida is an all-party-consent state under Florida Statute §934.03, so you will hear an announcement before the call is connected. If you do not want to be recorded, do not continue the call — use the quote form or email instead.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to measure traffic, understand which pages lead to contacts, and count events such as a click on the phone number or a successful form submission. You can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings, or use a browser extension that opts out of Google Analytics. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the site or submit a request.
How long we keep it
Lead records and call logs are retained for up to 24 months so we can measure how the site performs and resolve disputes, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Call recordings are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting configured in Google Analytics.
How it is stored
Lead and call records are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with row-level security enabled, so the contracted electrician can only see records belonging to this site. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Access or deletion. Email privacy@debaryelectrician.com to ask what we hold about you or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete records already passed to the electrician — contact them directly for that.
- Correction. Ask us to correct anything inaccurate using the same address.
- Stop contact. Tell the electrician directly, or email us and we will pass the request along.
Florida residents, and residents of states with comprehensive privacy statutes, may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, and opting out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Third-party links
This site links to third parties, including the contracted electrician's own website and Florida's license lookup. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
